I support expanding affordable and workforce housing, investing in supportive housing, and addressing homelessness with practical, compassionate solutions rooted in local needs. I’ve supported funding for supportive housing as part of the Hillview Health Care Center transformation. As a renter in La Crosse, housing affordability is the number one issue I hear about—and one I care deeply about.

I believe in an economy that works for everyone by supporting good jobs, small businesses, and smart investments that lower everyday costs. As a member of the county’s Economic Development Fund Board, I’ve supported initiatives that fund affordable housing, downtown art murals, and small business growth—helping build an economy people can participate in and enjoy.

Protecting clean water, air, and natural spaces is essential to our quality of life. I’ve supported funding for PFAS testing and solar investments that promote sustainability while lowering long-term costs for taxpayers. Environmental responsibility and fiscal responsibility go hand in hand.

Reliable public transit connects people to jobs, education, healthcare, and community life. I support sustainable funding and regional transit solutions, including La Crosse’s SMRT Bus, which connects surrounding rural communities and serves as a vital quality-of-life resource for our region.
